In a nutshell,...I live in a barn and draw funny pictures for a living!

    During a ten year period as a newspaper Ad Designer/Art Director which followed my graduation from Northeast Missouri State University, I began to do some freelance illustration work with Metro Creative Graphics in New York City beginning in 1990. Eventually with the encouragement and support of my loving wife Pat, I made the move to fulltime freelance work.

     To this day, the majority of my work is still with Metro, having done thousands of assignments with them.

They generally give me a simple theme and allow me to create the final concept. (examples of my work for Metro are shown throughout this website) 

    I am extemely fortunate to be able to collaborate with them, and I'm always interested in having my work seen in new and unusual places.

     My wife and I are blessed to live in rural Missouri just North of  St. Louis, and still be able to email my artwork to places like New York.
